They came out perfectly. I substituted what I had in the cupboard (dark brown sugar, a scraped vanilla bean, 63% cocoa chocolate chips, 1/4 cup dark cocoa powder plus a 1/4 cup of a unique baking cocoa from American Heritage Chocolate << super random, but really tasty). And I even forgot the parchment paper. Regardless, these are perfectly delicious and the texture is truly the ideal combination of fluffy and gooey. Iā€™m shocked at how easy and how good these are. Great recipe!

This brownie recipe is INSANE. The flavor and moisture is top notch. Doubled the recipe for my friend group’s game night and we finished one pan in like thirty minutes This recipe is like a blessing from the Lord. Made a second pan for my two roommates and one has eaten half a pan in the span of an hour, leaving the other half for our third roommate. She wants me to let you know that if she wasn’t generous she would eat the other half.

The only thing I did different was I melted the butter and sugar on stovetop because I don’t own a microwave-safe bowl that large.

However, bake time is soo off. I prepped everything exactly as told, and they needed to bake for about 55 minutes. Similar to her banana bread recipes. Bake wayyyy longer. But yum!!!
